Cheraw is a charming, historic, rural town located about an hour from Charlotte and 45 minutes from the main campus- McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC. The mild climate allows for plenty of outdoor activities in the Cheraw State park which boasts walking trails, water sports on lake Juniper, camping grounds and excellent golf courses . There is also Pee Dee River access and a wonderful recreational center that offers a variety of sports activities and events for family members of all ages.
