Are you a dedicated Labor & Delivery nurse looking for your next rewarding travel assignment? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where teamwork and patient-centered care are at the forefront? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a dynamic team committed to providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns.
In this role, you'll be part of a supportive team that values the importance of keeping mothers and their newborns together, promoting skin-to-skin care, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. With 10 spacious private LDRP rooms and a focus on teamwork, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of families during one of their most important moments.
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and their newborns in a 1:1 laboring nurse ratio
- Circulate during C-sections and assist with antepartum care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including lactation counselors and maternity educators
- Utilize strong IV skills and work with the OBIX Fetal Heart Monitoring System
- Float to NICU for feeders and growers as needed
- Participate in floor-specific orientation and ongoing professional development
Requirements:
- Current RN license
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required; FHM preferred
- Need 1 year experience in setting
- Strong C-section and IV skills required
- Ability to work every third weekend and one major and one minor holiday
