Northern Clearing was founded in 1966 to provide right‑of‑way clearing services to utility companies. Over the years, Northern Clearing has evolved into a vertically integrated and highly versatile union contractor providing solution‑based services including landscape clearing, vegetation management, timber and composite matting services, environmental control and access road construction.
Northern Clearing Inc., is currently seeking a Superintendent to join our team.
This position will require travel across the U.S.
Primary Focus
Responsible for all operations, safety, procurement, scheduling, quality control, and production reporting status and progress on assigned projects.
Establishes and builds the work crew based on project needs and time parameters.
Ensure compliance with all company and client expectations.
Develop daily, weekly, monthly work plans.
Ensures all tools and equipment required to perform the work safely are available and maintained in a safe and working order.
Desired Skills
5+ years of related experience preferred
Clearing, Access, and Trimble experience preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to work productively with others and foster solid client relationships

The office location is to be determined and will require travel.
