A leading PLC organisation is looking to recruit a bright, ambitious recent Graduate Data Analysts to join their growing analytics and insight teams.
This is an great opportunity for a recent graduate with a strong numerical or analytical degree who is looking to build a long-term career within Data.
The business offers excellent training and benefits and involves account management/support of major blue chip companies giving you exposure to internal and external stakeholders, communicating complex technical Data sets to non-technical audiences. They offer hybrid working and genuine long-term progression within a highly commercial environment within the environmental sector.
*The Role*
As a Graduate Data Analyst, you will work closely with the wider analytics team to deliver meaningful business insight and support strategic decision-making across the organisation.
*Your responsibilities will include:*
* Producing analysis, reporting and commercial insight for senior stakeholders
* Identifying trends, patterns and opportunities within large data sets
* Supporting forecasting, modelling and performance analysis
* Building reports and dashboards to support operational and commercial decisions
* Using analytical thinking to improve processes and business performance
* Supporting continuous improvement projects across the organisation
* Working collaboratively with cross functional, operational and commercial teams
*What We Are Looking For*
* A minimum 2:1 degree within a numerical or analytical subject such as Maths, Economics, Physics, Data Science, Sports Science or similar
* Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
* A logical and analytical approach to problem-solving
* Excellent customer focus
* Strong communication, collaborative and stakeholder skills
* Genuine interest in Data Analytics, BI or Commercial Analysis
*Desirable Skills*
* SQL
* Python
* Power BI
* Data visualisation or reporting experience
