$22 - $25 hourly
Responsibilities:
Transport construction materials safely and efficiently to designated locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly. Collaborate with dispatch and site managers to coordinate delivery schedules and optimize routes. Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to uphold our commitment to safety and reliability. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption for reporting and compliance purposes. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth operations and address any delivery concerns. Participate in regular training sessions to enhance driving skills and stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
Experience in operating tractor-trailers, with a clean driving record. Ability to conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicle safety. Proven track record of timely and efficient delivery of construction materials. Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations, with a commitment to compliance. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with dispatch and site managers. Proficiency in maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption. Willingness to participate in ongoing training to enhance driving skills and industry knowledge.
