Über

Junior Estimator Junior Estimatorrequired for a Tier 1 Main Building Contractor in SouthDublin. The successful Junior Estimator will be responsible for of a range of projects in various sectors. Excellent training and mentorship with one of Irelands leading construction company. Our client will consider a Junior QS who wants to move into this area. Duties: The Estimator will assist in the preparation of tenders Quantify material, plant and labour requirements for relevant projects Analyse sub-contractor quotations, checking inclusions and exclusions Negotiate prices with suppliers and sub-contractors Issue tender queries and prepare tender reports Source and categorise pre-project information Help Create a procurement schedule for the project Prepare cost reports and detailed estimates Assist in the complete the final handover to the project team Requirements: Relevant Degree The Estimator must have 2 years+ experience working as an estimator or QS for a main building contractor Must have experience working in Ireland or the UK Good communication skills and proven track record in taking tenders from pricing through to final client award Ability to work as both part of a team and on their own initiative Benefits: Salary circa €40k €50k Excellent Benefits package If you are an Junior Estimator looking for your next career move,please send your CV or call Declan Hasson for a confidential discussion.
