Responsibilities and duties of the HV Design Engineer role
Reporting to the Operations Director you will:
Lead electrical design of HV and LV systems, with a focus on MV (11-33kV) networks, for utility-scale and commercial solar PV projects. Develop and review system architecture and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) from concept through to detailed design, including MV collection and grid interface design. Manage and coordinate grid connection applications, including technical submissions and liaison with the relevant DNO. Ensure full compliance with applicable grid codes and connection standards, including G99 and G100 requirements.
