As a Medication Aide, you play a vital role in supporting resident health, wellbeing, and quality of life./ph3What Youll Do (Your Everyday Impact)/h3pProvide Safe Medication Support/pulliAdminister medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and delegated by nursing staff./liliEnsure medications are documented accurately and timely according to community policies and state regulations./liliObserve residents for medication side effects, reactions, or changes in condition and report concerns promptly./liliPerform narcotic counts and medication cart audits per community policy./liliMaintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines at all times./li/ulpDeliver Exceptional Resident Care/pulliAssist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, and transfers./liliFollow resident service plans and individualized care instructions./liliAnswer call lights promptly and provide compassionate support to residents./liliAssist with meal service, hydration, escorts to meals/activities, and resident engagement./liliEncourage resident independence, dignity, and socialization./li/ulpPromote Safety Teamwork/pulliReport resident changes, incidents, injuries, or safety concerns immediately to leadership or nursing staff./liliMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment./liliFollow infection control, OSHA, and safety procedures./liliAssist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as assigned./liliParticipate in staff meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities./liliSupport teamwork by maintaining positive communication and professionalism with coworkers, residents, and families./li/ulh3What You Bring to the Team/h3pCredentials Experience/pulliMedication Aide/Medication Administration certification required (per state regulations)./liliCaregiver or CNA experience preferred./liliPrevious experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care preferred./liliCPR certification preferred./liliValid drivers license preferred (where applicable)./li/ulpSkills Strengths/pulliStrong attention to detail and organizational skills./liliAbility to safely administer and document medications accurately./liliCompassionate, resident-centered mindset./liliStrong communication and teamwork abilities./liliAbility to remain calm and professional in emergency or high-pressure situations./liliReliable attendance and dependable work ethic./li/ulpPhysical Schedule Requirements/pulliAbility to lift at least 30 pounds./liliFrequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repositioning of residents./liliAbility to push medication carts and assist residents with mobility./liliFlexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays./liliAbility to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment./li/ulpWhy Youll Love This Role/pulliBuild meaningful relationships with residents and families./liliMake a direct impact on resident health, comfort, and quality of life./liliWork in a supportive, team-focused environment./liliGain valuable healthcare experience and growth opportunities within senior living./li/ulpApple Creek Place is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer./p/div
