To achieve service levels through the effective motivation and utilization of the team within agreed levels of quality, cost, and efficiency.

To control and allocate work, monitoring progress to ensure hourly/daily/weekly workload and tasks are completed, keeping line management fully informed of any operational issues. Ensure enough operators are performing at appropriate skill level to meet the planned output, identify for future training needs and ensure effective training is carried out to maintain operational efficiency. Ensure permitted absence/holidays are managed in line with output requirements to avoid downtime. Liaise with Department Manager to obtain additional equipment/resource required to meet the output plan. To continually monitor individual performance (efficiency, speed, accuracy, quality, attendance, attitude and behavior), taking necessary action where appropriate to improve standards. To effectively manage team members, maintaining a high standard of communication through team briefing, consultation, employee reviews and one to one conversation. To work cooperatively with others, creating and maintaining team spirit/morale within and across the factory to achieve a common goal. In conjunction with HR, ensure that poor performance is addressed, handle grievances and discipline within the parameters of company procedure. Plan the loading of output/demand in conjunction with other Team Leaders/Departmental Manager to achieve best department efficiency. Identify and implement new working processes or methods and seek continuous improvement to increase efficiency/output/quality and information flow, liaising with the Department Manager as appropriate. To effectively monitor and improve customer service standards. Ensure the company health and safety policy is followed by all operators within the section and maintain the required levels of housekeeping. To act as a demonstrating role model the company values and support corporate and factory policy and objectives. To maintain stock integrity through a perpetual stock taking programmed and the monitoring of all stock transactions. To accurately handle all transactions of stock moving in and out of the warehouse department including receipting of all deliveries and handling delivery and invoicing discrepancies to completion. To Carry Out any other duties as required.

Highly motivated, friendly approachable nature, excellent communication skills, excellent attention to details with strong follow through, proactive approach to tasks, able to prioritize and manage own workload, results driven and takes accountability, managing a team of warehouse operatives, good working knowledge of Excel, Word, etc. Must be able to read, write and speak English, must be able to work a flexible schedule/overtime as needed (before/after shift/weekends), must be able to work in hot and cold conditions. SAP experience preferred, experience working in a distribution environment preferred, experience with RF equipment preferred, experience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), intermediate or better in Excel (Pivot tables, write formulas, create metrics).

Connecting with others: Roles will interact with other functions within same classifications as well associates from the following departments: Inventory Control, Quality Control, Transportation, Logistics, Asset and Profit Protection.
