PFG Customized is seeking a safety-focused Class A Shuttle Driver to support our Food & Beverage Operations within the Transportation & Logistics team. In this essential position, you will operate a Class A tractor-trailer to shuttle food products and related materials between company facilities, regional hubs, and customer locations, helping ensure that restaurants and other dining establishments receive the high-quality products they need, on time and in excellent condition.
As a Class A Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for safe, efficient, and compliant operation of commercial equipment. Your day typically includes performing thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, safely maneuvering tractors and trailers in yards and docks, and transporting palletized and caged loads between warehouses and cross-dock locations. You will follow all DOT regulations and traffic laws, adhere to company safety policies, and maintain accurate electronic logs and trip documentation. Because you are moving food and beverage products, you will help protect product quality by following proper handling practices and, when required, monitoring temperature-controlled loads.
You will work closely with dispatchers, warehouse teams, and other drivers in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Clear communication is critical as you coordinate schedules, adjust to route changes, and support high-priority customer needs. You will regularly position trailers for loading and unloading, secure loads to prevent shifting or damage, and ensure trailers are staged correctly to keep operations running smoothly. This role may involve night, early morning, or weekend shifts based on business needs, and requires consistent reliability and strong time management.
