Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, documenting care activities, and reporting observations to nursing supervisors. CNAs ensure residents privacy and dignity while adhering to HIPAA guidelines, professional standards, and regulatory requirements. They contribute to a safe and supportive environment, participate in educational opportunities to maintain certification, and perform other duties as assigned to ensure the health, welfare, and safety of residents./ph3Responsibilities:/h3ulliBe able to perform all functions under your active license or certification or as it pertains to your assigned duties./liliKnow the residents you serve, providing care based on their care plans./liliAssist in all aspects of a residents daily life, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement./liliAppropriately communicate with clinical leadership when a residents needs change./liliKnow how to approach and care for residents with dementia./liliBe willing to take on other duties and assignments within the scope of your knowledge and experience./li/ulh3Qualifications:/h3ulliAn active Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) License or Certification in good standing./liliHigh School Diploma or GED./liliWillingness to take additional training or education, which specific states may require./liliCPR and First Aid certifications are required./liliAbility to be flexible and adaptable while handling multiple priorities./liliPossess written and verbal skills for effective communication./liliCompetent in organizational and time management skills./liliDemonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills./li/ulh3Physical Demands:/h3ulliRequired to sit, stand, bend and walk regularly; lift and/or move up to 100/liliVisual and auditory ability sufficient for written and verbal communication./liliThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate./liliMust be able to perform duties throughout the scheduled shift./li/ulpAperion Care.
