VOS RESPONSABILITÉS
- Vérifier et traiter les paies hebdomadaires, bihebdomadaires et hors cycle;
- Saisir les nouvelles embauches, les cessations d'emploi et préparer les relevés d'emploi;
- Créer et traiter les documents liés aux dossiers de paie;
- Compiler des données et produire divers rapports;
- Maintenir les dossiers des employés en gardant les informations confidentielles et capable de travailler avec des informations sensibles ;
- Enquêter, analyser et résoudre les problèmes pour les employés, les gestionnaires, le groupe comptable et les organismes gouvernementaux externes ;
- Vérifier la conformité entre la paie et les politiques internes ;
- Se conformer aux exigences législatives fédérales et provinciales en étudiant les lois existantes et nouvelles; assurer le respect des exigences, conseiller la direction sur les actions nécessaires, mise à jour de la configuration du système ;
- Préparer les lettres d'emploi (licenciement, cessation d'emploi, ouverture/fermeture de restaurant, etc ;
- Préparer les informations pour la soumission mensuelle au programme de participation aux bénéfices ;
- Participer aux audits internes et externes ;
- Fournir un service à la clientèle de qualité supérieure aux clients internes et externes ;
- Exécuter toute autre tâche liée à l'administration du département, telle que confiée par le responsable direct.
VOTRE PROFIL
- Minimum de 3 ans d'expérience en paie, y compris une expérience concrète en traitement de la paie, en assurances et avantages sociaux collectifs, et en déclarations de fin d'année
- Excellent oral et écrit (français et anglais)
- Minimum 1er niveau du cours NPI complété ou membre de NPI est un atout
- La connaissance du système de paie ADP Workforce Now est un atout
- Connaissance de MS Office (une connaissance fonctionnelle de MS Excel est obligatoire)
- Capable de travailler dans un environnement au rythme rapide
- Solides compétences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles
- Fortes capacités d'analyse, de gestion des priorités et de multitâche
- Bonne connaissance des lois du travail au Canada ;
- Dynamique et bon esprit d'équipe ;
- Doit être bien organisé et avoir un grand souci du détail
- Doit avoir l'esprit d'entreprise et une attitude positive.

MTY Group is looking for an efficient Payroll Technician to undertake head office and corporate restaurants payroll provinces in Canada. Reporting directly to the Payroll Specialist Manager the ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of Payroll. The candidate will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end – to- end running of projects and operations.

YOUR RESPONSABILITES:
- Verify and process weekly, bi-weekly, and off-cycle payrolls
- Enter new hires and terminations and prepare Records of Employment (ROEs)
- Create and process documents related to payroll records
- Compile payroll data and produce various reports
- Maintain confidential employee files and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve payroll issues for employees, managers, the accounting team, and external government agencies
- Ensure compliance between payroll processing and internal company policies
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial legislation by reviewing current and new laws, updating system configurations, and advising management on required actions
- Prepare employment-related letters (termination, end of employment, restaurant openings/closings, etc.)
- Prepare information for the monthly profit-sharing program submission
- Participate in internal and external payroll audits
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Perform other administrative tasks related to payroll and department operations as assigned by the direct supervisor
YOUR PROFILE
- Minimum 3 years of payroll experience, including concrete experience in payroll processing, group insurance and benefits, and year-end filings
- Excellent verbal and written (French and English)
- Minimum 1st level of NPI course completed or member of NPI an asset
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is an asset
- Knowledge of MS Office (Functional knowledge of MS Excel is a must)
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, priority management and multitasking skills
- Good knowledge of labour laws in Canada
- Energetic and good team spirit
- Must be well-organized with a strong attention to detail
- Must have an entrepreneurial spirit and a "can-do" attitude
