Overview Launch Your Career in Energy Sales with Reliant! 2020 Companies is seeking a bilingual, enthusiastic, and results‑driven Energy Sales Specialist to join our team. The role involves representing and promoting Reliant Energy services at retail, engaging with customers, and driving new enrollments. The position is regular and located at HEB 38 – San Juan, TX 78589.
Job Description You will work for an award‑winning company with paid training, uncapped commissions, and clear paths to career growth. Your core responsibilities include representing Reliant by NRG, driving sales at retail kiosks, events, and occasionally in-store, and building lasting customer relationships.

Earn $1,000–$1,350 per week on average with base pay and uncapped commissions.
Commission‑based pay with a $14.00/hr guarantee. Next‑day pay via Daily Pay.

Responsibilities
Promote Reliant electricity plans to consumers.
Help customers lower energy costs in their community.
Identify customer needs and handle objections.
Build strong relationships with customers and teammates.
No door‑to‑door, cold calling, or telemarketing.
Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environment.
Maintain professional interaction with customers and fellow employees.
Meet or exceed personal sales goals each month.
Courtly welcome customers and offer assistance.
Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggest products that fit those needs.
Advise customers by providing information on products and services.
Help customers make selections by building confidence.
Accurately document and report sales.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations.
Keep workstation/kiosk clean, well‑organized, functional, and presentable at all times.
Submit all paperwork completely and accurately.
Qualifications
Must be fluent in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak).
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least six months of prior sales, retail, telecom, or marketing experience.
Strong experience in retail/event sales or event marketing.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting and setting up/tearing down events.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to event locations.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment.
Performance Measurements
Regular and prompt attendance.
Meet established monthly/weekly sales quotas and goals.
Customer/client satisfaction measured by rejection percentage and substantiated complaints.
