Preparing and organizing the operating room to facilitate seamless surgical procedures Ensuring sterile fields are maintained while adhering to strict infection control protocols Supplying instruments and materials to surgeons and surgical assistants during operations Managing and maintaining surgical equipment pre-, intra-, and post-operatively Monitoring surgical supplies to ensure everything is prepared for each operation Teaming up with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical personnel for cohesive care Keeping accurate counts and documentation throughout the surgical process Education Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program High school diploma or equivalent required Certifications Needed:
Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential required BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days post-hire) Key Skills and Attributes:
Comprehensive knowledge of surgical instrumentation and techniques across diverse specialties Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities in fast-paced environments Ability to prioritize effectively while responding swiftly to surgical team needs Strong organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail and cleanliness Expertise in aseptic technique and maintaining a sterile field Why This Role Stands Out:
