Responsibilities: Represents the company for the sale of machinery (agricultural, lawn and garden) to customers Keep track of equipment inventory and keep a constant awareness of the products available for sale Know and use company provided systems and tools to follow a defined sales process Work closely with Parts and Service Departments to provide customers solutions and develop long term relationships Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership Develop an awareness for competitive activity and products as well as business and industry trends Develop lasting relationships with customers to better understand their business activities Achieve and maintain a strong knowledge of used equipment markets and values to properly evaluate trades Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods Effectively communicate with management as needed in relation to competitive activities and products as well as customers business activities Attends and participate in applicable sales training events, seminars, and classes Delivers sold equipment to customers Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: 1+ years equipment sales experience or agriculture related field required Must have a valid driver's license and in good standing Must maintain a good driving record in compliance with company Motor Vehicle Records criteria throughout employment Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions Ability to work flexible hours and to work on your own Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer relationship skills Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports A drive to meet and talk to new people High School Diploma or equivalent work experience Full-Time Benefit Packages: Paid Holidays & Vacation Time Health, Vision, & Dental Insurance Life Insurance 401K Plan with Company Match Routine Performance & Pay Reviews Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Safety Equipment Allowance All benefits subject to change. Pay Information: The salary pay range for this position is $50,000 to $90,000. This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made. In Season Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm, Saturday 7am-12pm (rotation) Off Season/Winter Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm *In Season Hours may be extended during peak seasons (planting, harvest, or any other peak selling season) to meet the needs of the store. Extended Hours are determined by the needs of the store and subject to change. * *Off season hours are from November-March. Start and end date to winter hours is dependent on year and subject to change. *
