QualificationsTo be considered for this position, you must have schooling or dental office experience as a Dental Assistant.

- Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Infection Control & XRay certificates required.
- Taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays).
- Asking about the patient's medical history and taking blood pressure and pulse.
- Providing patients with Pre/Post OP instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling).
- Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health; (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling).
- Taking impressions of patient's teeth for study casts (models of teeth).
- Taking needed pre-op/post-op x-rays for necessary insurance. Ex: XB, Space maintainer, etc.
- Chart/enter a treatment into Dentrix Ascend software.
- Must be able to work Saturdays
- Full-time. Mon-Fri 8:00 am- 5:00 pm Some Saturday 8:00 am- 2:00 pm
- Hourly + Benefits+ Monthly Bonuses
- Pay rate $18.00- $23.00
