Job Description Description: H&B Pipe and Supplies is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Account Representative to develop and maintain strong client relationships while driving sales growth. This role is responsible for managing existing accounts, generating new business opportunities, and supporting customers with industrial and oilfield supply solutions. The ideal candidate is self-driven, organized, and experienced in building long-term customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers Identify and pursue new business opportunities through calls, customer visits, networking, and referrals Prepare and coordinate quotes, bids, and sales orders accurately and in a timely manner Assist customers with product selection, specifications, pricing, and availability Collaborate with procurement, operations, and fulfillment teams to ensure excellent customer service and on-time delivery Follow up on quotes, open orders, and customer inquiries to maximize sales opportunities Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, and pipeline updates within company systems and CRM platforms Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, competitor activity, and product knowledge Represent H&B Pipe and Supplies professionally during customer interactions and site visits Support company sales goals through proactive communication and account management
Requirements:
Previous experience in sales, industrial supply, oilfield services, government sales, or related industries preferred Knowledge of pipe, valves, fittings, flanges (PVF), and industrial products strongly preferred Strong customer service and relationship-building skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel locally for customer visits and meetings Preferred Experience Experience serving customers in the oil & gas, construction, industrial, or
government/municipal
sectors Prior outside sales or account management experience Experience preparing bids, quotes, and customer proposals Familiarity with inventory, procurement, or supply chain operations is a plus Why Join H&B Pipe and Supplies?
