Are you a hands-on QSR leader who's been running area operations and is ready to take the next step? We're conducting a confidential search on behalf of one of Canada's fastest-growing multi-unit restaurant franchisees — a company with 180+ locations nationally and serious momentum. They're building their Quebec leadership team, and they need a District Manager who's done the work, knows the P&L inside out, and is ready to own a market.
About the Role
This is an 8-unit District Manager position covering locations spread across the province — from Montréal and Laval to Québec City, the South Shore, Gatineau, and beyond. You'll report directly to the Director of Operations and oversee a team of Restaurant Managers who expect a leader that shows up, rolls up their sleeves, and drives real results.
This isn't a desk job. You'll be in your restaurants — minimum 75% of your time — coaching managers, assessing operations, and building a culture of excellence. If you thrive on being present, making an impact on the floor, and turning good restaurants into great ones, this role was built for you.
What You'll Own
- Full P&L accountability across your district — you'll know your numbers cold
- KPI execution: sales, labour, food costs, guest satisfaction — all of it
- Building and developing your management bench; you recruit and grow your own talent
- Monthly audits across financials, health & safety, and HR compliance
- Partnering with Restaurant Managers to remove barriers and drive performance
- Supporting rollouts of new processes, promos, and initiatives across your market
The Ideal Candidate
You've been an Area Manager or Area Supervisor in QSR — ideally 2+ years leading multiple locations. You're data-driven but people-focused. You communicate clearly, adapt quickly, and you bring the kind of energy that makes teams want to perform. You might be a current DM leading 3–4 units who's looking to grow into a larger portfolio and a company with real upward trajectory. Bilingualism (French/English) is required to work effectively in the Quebec market.
What's In It For You
- Base salary up to $85,000
- Operational bonus up to ~$18,000 annually (KPI-based)
- MBO bonus: 5%

À propos du poste
Ce poste de Directeur(trice) de district couvre environ 8 établissements répartis à travers la province — de Montréal et Laval jusqu'à Québec, la Rive-Sud, Gatineau et au-delà. Vous relèverez directement du Directeur des opérations et superviserez une équipe de gérants de restaurant qui attendent un leader présent, impliqué et qui génère de vrais résultats.
Ce n'est pas un poste de bureau. Vous serez dans vos restaurants — au minimum 75 % de votre temps — à coacher vos gérants, évaluer les opérations et bâtir une culture d'excellence. Vos responsabilités
- Responsabilité complète du compte de résultats (P&L) de votre district — vous maîtrisez vos chiffres
- Atteinte des KPI : ventes, main-d'œuvre, coûts alimentaires, satisfaction client — l'ensemble du tableau
- Développement de votre relève en gestion : vous recrutez et faites grandir vos propres talents
- Audits mensuels en finances, santé & sécurité et ressources humaines
- Collaboration avec les gérants pour éliminer les obstacles et améliorer la performance
- Soutien au déploiement de nouveaux processus, promotions et initiatives dans votre marché
Le profil recherché
Vous occupez ou avez occupé un poste de superviseur(e) de secteur ou directeur(trice) de zone en restauration rapide — idéalement avec 2 ans ou plus à la tête de plusieurs établissements. Vous êtes axé(e) sur les données, mais orienté(e) vers les gens. Vous communiquez clairement, vous adaptez rapidement et vous apportez une énergie qui pousse les équipes à se surpasser. Vous êtes peut-être un(e) DM actuel(le) gérant 3 à 4 unités, à la recherche d'un portefeuille plus large au sein d'une entreprise en pleine croissance. Le bilinguisme (français/anglais) est un atout dans le marché québécois.
