About

Owning the reliability and operational excellence of the data platform, the full-time Lead Data Engineer will build, maintain, and operate data pipelines using Snowflake, Airflow, AWS, Python, and SQL, while also leading technical initiatives and optimizing costs in a remote environment. Key responsibilities
Build and maintain data pipelines and curated data products across Snowflake, Airflow, AWS, Python, and SQL Optimize Snowflake architecture at scale, implementing clustering, materialized views, and resource monitors Lead incident responses and postmortems, ensuring system improvements and adherence to SLAs for data platforms
Required qualifications
Deep hands-on experience with Snowflake, Airflow, AWS, Python, and SQL in production environments Proven ability to lead incident response and drive postmortems that result in real system improvements Solid data architecture and system design skills, including disaster recovery and high availability Experience implementing observability and data quality controls across complex data systems 8+ years of data engineering experience, with several years owning critical platforms or services
