Are you a compassionate and reliable individual with a patient-first mindset? We're seeking a Patient Transport Specialist to join our dynamic healthcare team!
In this vital role, you'll ensure safe and efficient transport of patients (in-patient and ER) to Radiology, playing a key part in their care journey.
You'll be responsible for:
- Safely transporting patients via stretcher, wheelchair, or walking.
- Thoroughly assessing patient ambulation abilities.
- Adhering strictly to all National Patient Safety Goals (patient ID, hand hygiene, etc.).
- Reporting any equipment issues promptly.
- Responding to calls and contributing to a smooth workflow.
- Utilizing incident reporting for any concerns.

Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in an environment with shifting priorities, while providing accurate deliverables in a timely fashion
- Must be self-motivated, and able to take ownership of projects/assignments
- Must be a team player with excellent follow-up and customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills
- Interpersonal skills in dealing with guests and team members
