About

Wireless Network Hardware Engineer- Plano, Texas (Onsite) We are looking for an experienced Wireless Network Hardware Engineer to join the Network Maintenance Center team supporting live 4G and 5G wireless networks. This role is ideal for candidates with strong RAN operations, maintenance window support, and UNIX/Linux CLI experience. Key Responsibilities: • Execute mass software/firmware upgrades and parameter changes across live 4G/5G networks • Support maintenance windows and troubleshoot network issues in real time • Review and validate Engineering MOPs • Execute scripts and perform CLI-based activities in UNIX/Linux environments • Support RF, Field, Engineering, Lab, and HQ teams with alarm clearing, neighbor adds, and parameter updates • Troubleshoot wireless hardware/software issues and support network performance activities • Work with RAN infrastructure, fiber optics, GPS systems, AC/DC power systems, and networking hardware Required Skills: 10+ years of wireless telecom experience Strong knowledge of LTE/5G RAN technologies Hands-on UNIX/Linux CLI experience Experience with SW upgrades, maintenance windows, and live network support Understanding of wireless network architecture and troubleshooting Experience with Nokia, Ericsson, Samsung, Verizon or Huawei environments preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree, or related field preferred.
