Licensed Mobile Trailer Technician
Full-Time
Edmonton, AB
Available Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The Mobile Trailer Technician performs maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of trailers. This is an outdoor, yard-based role requiring independent work.
How You'll Help:
Complete maintenance and repairs based on work orders
Diagnose and service brakes, suspension, axles, tires, lighting, wiring, hydraulics, and HVAC/refrigeration systems
Repair trailer bodies and components (doors, frames, decals, etc.)
Work independently in the yard
Document work and communicate updates to supervisors/managers
Carry out other duties as assigned to support overall fleet operations.
Your Skills & Experience:
Licensed Trailer Technician certification
Red Seal endorsement is an asset
Experience in trailer/transport maintenance
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Physically capable of manual work and tight spaces
Knowledge of safety standards and industry regulations
CVIP and/or Class 1 license are considered assets
Previous experience working within an industrial environment, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience in the transportation industry.
Demonstrated experience in conducting safety inspections
Physically fit and able to lift, move, reach, bend, walk, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel and crouch for extended period of time
Ability to work in tight spaces
Strong communication skills – verbal and written
