Contract Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, optimize, and maintain enterprise data pipelines and data warehouse solutions. Build and support ETL/ELT processes for extracting, transforming, validating, and loading data from multiple enterprise systems. Analyze and maintain statewide statistical reporting processes and SAS-based reporting scripts. Support migration from legacy SAS reporting solutions to modern analytics and statistical platforms. Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, dashboards, and reporting artifacts. Configure and support Snowflake, Talend Data Fabric, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and related cloud-based technologies. Create and execute data quality assurance, validation, and governance processes. Validate data submissions, troubleshoot integration issues, and support production operations. Support onboarding and integration activities for new organizational units and external stakeholders. Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting support, and training to technical teams and business users. Maintain database objects, union views, dashboards, and enterprise reporting environments. Produce technical documentation including functional specifications, technical designs, test plans, and process documentation. Collaborate with project teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to communicate project status, milestones, risks, and deliverables. Perform deployment, maintenance, and operational support activities for reporting and analytics environments. Assist with additional operational and enhancement activities related to enterprise reporting platforms and data systems. Job Qualifications/Requirements: 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, business intelligence, or enterprise analytics environments. Strong hands-on experience with: SQL programming and database development SAS analytics and statistical reporting Power BI dashboard development and reporting Data modeling and data warehouse design Enterprise ETL/ELT tools such as Talend, Informatica, or Oracle Data Integrator Experience implementing and supporting large-scale enterprise data warehouse and analytics solutions. Experience with Snowflake administration, integration, and support. Experience working with Talend Data Fabric, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), cloud-based data technologies, and modern analytics platforms. Familiarity with R programming and advanced analytics tools is preferred. Strong understanding of: Data governance Data quality management Data classifications Data security and access controls Experience analyzing and documenting: Functional requirements Business cases Technical specifications Communication plans Test plans Product lifecycle artifacts Experience supporting production environments, troubleshooting data issues, and maintaining operational stability. Ability to assess complex situations and develop effective problem-solving solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement. Experience working with project schedules, milestones, timelines, and deliverables. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Project, and Visio. Experience working within government agencies, judicial systems, or public-sector organizations is highly desirable. Knowledge of digital government initiatives and public-sector technology strategies is a plus. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both written and verbal.
