Estimated compensation for this position is: $115,000 - $132,000
JLL is seeking an accomplished Senior Facilities Manager with demonstrated excellence in strategic portfolio leadership, financial management, and client partnership development. This senior-level position offers the opportunity to drive long-term facility strategy, manage substantial operating and capital budgets, and serve as a trusted advisor to sophisticated clients while overseeing complex multi-site portfolios. As our Senior Facilities Manager, you'll lead comprehensive portfolio operations while serving as the primary strategic liaison between clients and JLL's facilities platform. You'll report directly to the Regional Facilities Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping facility investment strategies, optimizing portfolio performance, and delivering measurable value to client stakeholders.
What your day-to-day will look like:- Financial & Budget Management: Develop and manage $5M+ annual operating budgets and multi-year capital plans, conduct financial analysis and ROI calculations for major investments, implement cost optimization strategies, and oversee procurement and contract negotiations while providing executive-level financial reporting and forecasting.
- Client Partnership & Strategic Advisory:Serve as primary strategic partner and trusted advisor to C-suite client leadership, lead quarterly business reviews, translate facility challenges into business solutions, and develop innovative service delivery models that align facilities operations with enterprise objectives.
- Strategic Planning & Portfolio Optimization:Direct facility condition assessments, develop 5-10 year master plans, lead portfolio optimization analyses, champion sustainability and ESG initiatives, and drive technology integration strategies including smart building platforms and predictive analytics.
- Critical Systems & Technical Oversight: Provide senior-level oversight of mission-critical HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems across multi-site portfolios, ensure regulatory compliance, direct emergency response protocols, and guide technical decision-making on major infrastructure investments exceeding $100K.
- Vendor & Contract Management:Oversee strategic vendor relationships, lead RFP processes for major service contracts, negotiate complex multi-year agreements, implement vendor performance management frameworks with clear KPIs, and manage contractor relationships during capital projects.
- Operational Excellence & Performance Management:Establish and monitor comprehensive portfolio KPIs, implement continuous improvement methodologies, conduct operational audits, deliver executive-level reporting packages, and drive process standardization across all properties while championing safety culture.
- Leadership & Team Development:Provide leadership and mentorship to Facilities Managers and engineering teams, build high-performing teams through strategic hiring and development, foster a culture of excellence and innovation, and collaborate across JLL service lines to deliver integrated client solutions
- Education & Certifications:Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Finance, or Business Administration required (advanced degree strongly preferred), plus professional certifications such as CFM, FMP, PMP, or PE required, with additional certifications like CEM, LEED AP, or CPM highly valued.
- Experience Level & Scope:10+ years of progressive facilities management experience with minimum 5 years in senior leadership roles managing portfolios exceeding 1M square feet or $5M+ annual budgets, including experience with mission-critical facilities and multi-site portfolio management across diverse geographies.
- Strategic & Financial Expertise:Advanced financial management skills including budget modeling, capital planning, financial analysis, and ROI calculations, combined with strategic thinking ability to connect facilities operations to organizational objectives and demonstrated success leading strategic planning initiatives and organizational transformations.
- Client Leadership & Communication:Proven track record managing complex executive-level client relationships with measurable outcomes, executive presence with demonstrated success presenting to C-suite audiences and boards of directors, and exceptional influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Technical & Systems Knowledge:Comprehensive knowledge of critical building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, life safety, building automation), facility lifecycle management, sustainability and ESG principles, emerging technologies (IoT, AI/ML, digital twins), and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, ADA, building codes).
- Technology & Tools ProficiencyProficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel modeling, working knowledge of CMMS platforms (Maximo, FM:Interact, Corrigo), IWMS systems (Archibus, Tririga), business intelligence tools, and expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement strategy.
- Physical Requirements & AvailabilityAbility to conduct facility inspections across diverse properties including rooftops and mechanical spaces, valid driver's license with up to 40% travel capability between portfolio sites, and availability for emergency response and critical client meetings outside standard business hours.

Estimated compensation for this position:
