The Role
MedEdge is hiring a full-time, on-site Scrum Master to lead Scrum facilitation, ceremony discipline, and delivery predictability for our product engineering team in Fort Smith. This role reports to the VP Engineering and Product and partners daily with the Product Owner and engineering team to protect focus, remove blockers, and drive continuous improvement across our product portfolio.
What You Will Do
· Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies for the Fort Smith product engineering team, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
· Coach the team and Product Owner on Scrum principles, agile mechanics, and continuous improvement
· Maintain an active impediment log and drive blocker resolution within agreed service levels
· Protect the team from mid-sprint scope changes and unscheduled work
· Partner with the Product Owner on backlog refinement, story sizing, and acceptance criteria clarity
· Establish and maintain delivery metrics including velocity, sprint burndown, cycle time, and sprint commitment versus delivery
· Surface delivery risks early to engineering and product leadership with proposed mitigations
· Coordinate dependencies across the MedEdge product portfolio including BT340B, ME340B, IDRx, Mosaic, and ScriptRack
· Drive retrospectives that produce specific, measurable improvement actions sprint over sprint
· Maintain Azure DevOps boards, sprint configurations, and reporting integrity
· Identify process changes when current ceremonies are not producing the intended outcomes
· Own the team's working relationship with agile tooling and reporting platforms
What You Bring
· Three or more years as a Scrum Master facilitating a software engineering team
· Active Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I), or equivalent certification
· Demonstrated track record of improving sprint commitment versus delivery rates over multiple sprints
· Strong working knowledge of Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent agile management tooling
· Direct experience facilitating ceremonies for engineering teams of five or more contributors
· Demonstrated ability to manage up to a Product Owner and engineering leader without becoming a roadblock
· Comfortable holding the team accountable to its commitments while protecting it from outside scope creep
· Excellent written communication; documents decisions, blockers, and follow-ups clearly
Nice to Have
· Experience working in healthcare technology or another regulated industry under HIPAA or SOC 2
· Advanced Scrum certification such as Professional Scrum Master II or III, or Advanced Certified Scrum Master
· Familiarity with Scaled Agile concepts (SAFe, LeSS) even if not currently in use
· Experience facilitating retrospectives for teams that operate across multiple product lines
· Background in software engineering or technical product management
Where You Will Work
This is a full-time, on-site role based at the MedEdge Solutions Fort Smith office at 2120 S Waldron Rd, Building B Suite 4, Fort Smith, AR 72903. The Scrum Master reports to the VP Engineering and Product and works on-site daily with the Fort Smith product engineering team and the Product Owner.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
