The hiring company is currently on the lookout for a Senior Data Engineer/Consultant based in Switzerland to join their robust team. The role involves supporting innovative implementations for customers who communicate in both German and French.

Vacancy
Who you are
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Informatics, Data Science or a related STEM field
- 7-10 years Data Management / Data Quality / Data Governance
- Familiarity with database technology and Big Data frameworks, e.g. SQL, NoSQL, and Spark
- Experience with regulatory requirements (FINMA)
- Experience in the environment of private banks / banks
- Excellent written and oral communication (English and German or French is a must). Good interpersonal skills to work with business and IT stakeholders
- Work permit in Switzerland or citizen of an EU/ EFTA country
Your tasks
- Add real-world impact by transforming our clients’ data into tangible value
- Lead the integration and transformation of various data sources through data pipelines into cloud environments, through end-to-end data management
- Lead delivery workstreams with high-performing teams in an agile way and take accountability for the delivery quality
- Ensure the quality of data, following the FINMA regulation requirements
- Communicate outcomes and collaborate on solution / product development
- Build a trusted relationship with various stakeholders across our clients, teams, and partners
- Coach other team members
