Our hiring company is a booming startup active within the FinTech industry. They created a job offer for a Backend Engineer Scala to integrate into their teams in Switzerland (Zurich, 2 days on site and rest in home office) or from the European Union (in full remote).

Votre profil

  • Language skills: English (C1+ / fluent)
  • Professional experience: 3+ years of experience with Scala
  • Knowledge of DevOps concepts and any of the company's tech stack is a big plus (see tech stack in the benefit section)
  • Great communication skills, eager to learn and enthusiastic about taking part in a startup environment in a passionate team

Vos tâches

  • Design, create and deliver high quality Cloud and web applications by focussing on the Backend using Scala, ZIO, PostgreSQL and Typelevel Stack like Cats, Shapeless, http4 or fs2
  • Be part of their Backend and DevOps Engineering team composed of 10 people
  • Learn about Infrastructure concepts such as Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Nix or even Vault and Traefik
  • Use Cloud solutions such as GCP or Azure
