Functieomschrijving
Wij zijn op zoek naar een commercieel talent in de buitendienst dat energie krijgt van het helpen van organisaties bij het oplossen van (complexe) IT‑vraagstukken. Als Business Development Manager binnen de Data Center‑divisie voor NetApp sta je dicht bij de klant en luister je naar hun uitdagingen rondom data, continuïteit, groei en innovatie. Vanuit oprechte interesse in de business van de klant help je hen grip te krijgen op hun data en IT‑omgeving, zodat technologie geen belemmering is, maar juist een versneller van hun ambities. Je bouwt langdurige relaties op, denkt mee over toekomstbestendige datacenteroplossingen en begeleidt klanten bij belangrijke keuzes die impact hebben op hun organisatie. Samen met partners en interne specialisten werk je aan oplossingen die écht verschil maken. Niet omdat het moet, maar omdat je gelooft dat goed ingerichte IT organisaties helpt om beter te presteren, te innoveren en vooruit te kijken.
Daarnaast:
- Beheer en ontwikkel kleine tot middelgrote klantaccounts van gemiddelde complexiteit met enige supervisie, met als doel het winnen van nieuwe klanten en het maximaliseren van het accountpotentieel
- Verhoog de klantloyaliteit en winstgevendheid door optimaal gebruik te maken van je uitgebreide kennis van de toegewezen product- en dienstlijnen
- Vergroot het marktaandeel van TD SYNNEX bij leveranciers door effectieve strategieën en relaties
- Vertaal leveranciersdoelstellingen naar uitvoerbare bedrijfsplannen en ondersteun de realisatie van doelen in het businessplan
- Beheer grote deals en ontwikkel pijplijnen binnen een specifiek technologiedomein, inclusief onderhandelingen over deals en kortingen
- Leverage strategische input in leveranciersmarktaanbiedingen en ondersteun de ontwikkeling en uitvoering van marketingplannen in samenwerking met de Marketing Manager.
- Werk nauw samen met het Field Sales Team (FSE) en onderhoud sterke relaties met relevante contacten bij leveranciers
- Zorg voor nauwkeurige en tijdige wekelijkse prognoses en pijplijnontwikkelingen om continue groei te garanderen
- Bouw sterke relaties op met zowel generieke als gespecialiseerde verkoopteams binnen TD SYNNEX om samenwerking en synergie te bevorderen
- Onderhoud en ontwikkel relaties met leveranciers en klanten om de aanwezigheid en het profiel van TD SYNNEX zowel intern als extern te versterken
Jij:
- Hebt 3-5 jaar werkervaring in de IT-industrie op een business development-niveau, bij voorkeur in channel sales
- Hebt ervaring met datacenter- en cloudoplossingen
- Ervaring met NetApp is een pré
- Beheerst zowel de Nederlandse als Engelse taal vloeiend in woord en geschrift
- Bent communicatief sterk
- Beschikt over sterke organisatorische, tijds- en projectmanagementvaardigheden waarmee je taken succesvol kunt afronden
- Bent in staat om op een positieve en effectieve manier te communiceren met mensen op verschillende niveaus binnen de organisatie en met externe partners
- Bent een proactieve zelfstarter die in staat is om duidelijke individuele, team- en bedrijfsprioriteiten te definiëren en op eigen initiatief uit te voeren
- Hebt een sterke oriëntatie op en ervaring in diensten- en oplossingsverkoop.
- Bent in staat om gedegen businessplannen op te stellen en hebt ervaring met strategische planning en het ontwikkelen van businesscases
- Kan technische concepten (cloud, storage, security, infra) uitleggen in begrijpelijke taal
- Legt de koppeling tussen IT en bedrijfsdoelen (kosten, continuïteit, groei, compliance)
- Weet wanneer hij/zij zelf kan adviseren en wanneer pre‑sales moet worden aangehaakt
