Full-time academic faculty position within a respected Department of Ophthalmology Join a growing department with expanded clinical, educational, and research resources supported by a new free standing Eye Institute opening in 2026 Collaborative, mentorship driven academic environment Serve as a consultant to referring physicians and provide direct patient care as part of multidisciplinary treatment teams Teach and mentor ophthalmology residents, fellows, and medical students Opportunities for clinical research and industry sponsored trials EPIC EMR Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature Experience an environment that provides safe and equitable care for all patients
Training and/or Experience Required
M.D. or D.O. with completion of an Accredited residency Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology Fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Licensed / Eligible for licensure in North Carolina Active DEA in North Carolina
