Risk Software Engineer

A world-leading global systematic hedge fund and trading company are seeking a skilled Risk Software Engineer. This individual will work on developing technical solutions for Trading, Risk Analysts, and Risk Managers.

This role offers the opportunity to gain knowledge across various asset classes while implementing and monitoring risk data controls and delivering risk analytics.

The ideal candidate will be integral to the interaction between Risk Managers, Risk Development, and other central teams.

• Design and develop tools and infrastructure to support Risk Managers and Risk Analysts
• Enhance and optimize the operational framework used for monitoring and disseminating risk across the firm
• Collaborate with subject matter experts from other teams to develop and continuously improve data flow and quality
• Work closely with Trading, developers, and risk managers to monitor the health and utilization of risk systems to proactively detect/resolve data issues

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
• Data Engineering experience
• Experience in development using Python, Java, C++, or similar programming languages
• Machine learning, algo, strategy development, or real-time trading development experience
