Maintenance Engineer

Job Role: Shift Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical)

Location: Worcester, UK

Salary Range: £50,000 per year

Shift Pattern: Rotating 3-shift pattern (AM, PM, Nights) Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime at a premium rate.

This is a permanent position requiring a proactive and committed individual to drive continuous improvement in our production line.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of production machinery through preventative measures.
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.
• Initiating and driving a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Supporting improvement actions and collaborating with colleagues.
• Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or factory environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing and maintaining centrifugal and lobe pumps.
• Competency in electrical systems; experience in hydraulics and pneumatics is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rotating shift environment.
• Experience working in a food factory is highly desirable.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership of improvement initiatives.
