Job Title: Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

In this exciting role, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge Electro-Optical Seekers and Sensors for advanced weapon systems.

  • Provide specialized Electro-Optical design support throughout various stages of complex programmes, from specification and assessment to delivery and ongoing support.
  • Drive the technical direction of products to meet challenging customer requirements by collaborating with specialized design teams and external partners.
  • Engage in innovative research and development activities to support future programmes.
  • Work within a dynamic and skilled team, where you'll have the opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge while contributing to diverse and evolving projects.
Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting requirements analysis, creating specifications, and providing justifications.
  • Designing and modelling system architecture.
  • Performing trade studies to guide design decisions.
  • Ensuring systems proving, design assurance, and certification.
  • Utilizing systems engineering tools, such as IBM DOORS Next and Rhapsody.
Requirements:

  • Have British citizenship or be a dual national with British citizenship.
