Job Title: Site Manager (Water Industry)

Location: Site based with base in Walsall

Salary: To £50,000, Company car/ allowance and benefits

A new opportunity for a Site Manager to lead site operations at our Walsall hub. Oversee site operations, ensure compliance with CDM regulations and Client Requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and Client Requirements, maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to uphold quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with customers to ensure their satisfaction with the work being undertaken, fostering strong client relationships.
  • Coordinate with local authorities to secure permits for street work, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Organize efficient traffic management systems, including traffic lights, road closures, and other necessary measures, to minimize disruptions and maintain safety on-site.

Requirements:

  • Required certifications: ILM Level in Leadership and Management or equivalent, Temporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator, Supervisor Streetworks, SMSTS, EUSR Water Hygiene, Valid First Aid, IOSH Managing Safety.
  • Preferred experience with overhead power lines (GS6).
  • Strong background in deep excavation and trench support.
  • Mechanical and electrical experience would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated expertise in health and safety regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams effectively, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
