IFS Developer

Duration: End of April - [Potential 1 year extension]

Location: 2-3 days onsite London, (sometimes) Birmingham/ Occasional travel to France

Up to £740 per day Inside IR35

You’ll be joining our client’s Project as an IFS Technical Developer specialist where we help our client define their transformation journey enabled by the latest technology - generating insights to illuminate innovative ideas, creating valuable experiences for customers, achieving huge cost savings or embracing new collaborative mindsets.

Job Description

As anIFS Developer you will be implementing and maintaining IFS modules, managing the IFS implementation lifecycle, and troubleshooting technical issues. They also work with other teams to support system development and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Implementation: Implement IFS components, including applications, databases, and systems

• Maintenance: Maintain and control technical integration

Troubleshooting and Support:

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

• Support Proof of concepts design , build and test

• Able to build and test items identified for technical validation.

• Ensure optimal performance, stability, and scalability by supporting resolution to the IFS ERP/ FSM solution being implemented

• Support multiple functional areas (FSM including PSO. ERP – Finance, Supply Chain, Order to Cash)

• Provide technical support for system issues to Project Team based on direction from Technical Lead; Troubleshoot and debug applications

Documentation: Ensure the work undertaken is documented in line with Programme defined standards

• Project management: Lead, plan, and execute work allocated

• Reporting: Develop informational reports using SQL, SSRS, or PowerBI

• Development: Develop web and mobile solutions applications

Other duties

• Work with other IT teams, business units, and external vendors

• Communicate effectively with users and stakeholders

• Evaluate and enhance IFS implementation and integration processes

• Maintain documentation for technical components

• Identify opportunities to exploit product features

Competencies, Skills and Abilities

• 3+ years of IFS development experience

• Competent with Jira

• Should be able to travel and drive the clientworkshops, travel will be to London, Birmingham, France and potentially other European locations

• Proficiency in PL/SQL and SQL

• Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL Developer, TOAD or SQL Developer, or similar

• Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding, and fluid environment

• Being informed of the latest updates and the upcoming enhancements of the IFS technology
