Technical QA Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring our software products meet high-quality standards. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues and ensure software meets user requirements.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Quality Assurance and Testing

Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure product quality

Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing to identify bugs and usability issues

Precise in identifying defects in software programs

Creative and effective approaches to resolving bugs and inefficiencies

Collaboration and Communication

Work with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and define acceptance criteria

Participate in team meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to provide QA updates

Document and report test results, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders

Process Improvement

Identify areas for improvement in QA processes and contribute to team initiatives

Stay informed about best practices and trends in quality assurance

QUALIFICATIONS / KEY SKILLS

Required Skills and Experience

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Experience using bug tracking and test management tools

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Understanding/Experience with testing tools, such as Playwright

Experience with programming languages and databases

Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger

Strong understanding of software development life cycles, programming languages, and software testing methodologies

 Preferred Skills & Experience

Understanding of basic programming concepts or experience in writing test scripts

Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
