Full Time            37.5 hours Monday to Friday, Hybrid (3/4 days in the office)

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Senior Developer to join our busy development team. The core purpose of this role is an expert Microsoft stack developer who must be able to communicate on different levels throughout the business, be able to manage multiple work packages and liaise with Project Management where necessary.

Develop new user-facing features internally and externally

Build reusable code and libraries for future use

Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

Ensure all user input is validated before submitting to back-end systems

Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Able to design responsive screen designs

Able to design responsive user journeys

Work with the Web Software Developer to integrate the front-end technologies with the back-end server code

Work with C# ASP.Net/MVC/Core to create customised journeys based on client needs with a product approach in mind

Design code with the forethought of re-usability

Point of contact for projects that are currently being worked on

Essential

Expert in .NET Core, ASP.Net/MVC C#

Good understanding of SQL, Code first entity framework, how to write efficient queries and optimise/debug problem areas with data

Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery

Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX(with JSON or XML)

Proficient understanding of web mark-up, including HTML5, SASS, CSS, bootstrap etc.

Understanding of OWASP guidelines, and how to implement them in the code written

Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT or SVN

Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them

Cloud based technology, ideally Azure
