Vacancy - Technical Support Officer
Industry – Electrical / Circuit Protection
Location – office based role near Northampton, Northamptonshire
Working hours – Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
Salary – circa £45,000 per annum + bonus

Rhodium Consulting is recruiting for an experienced Technical Support Officer to join our client. In this role, you will provide expert guidance on electrical circuit protection products, assisting customers with technical queries, troubleshooting, and product selection. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining their reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical circuit protection products.
• Assist customers with product selection, installation, and operational queries.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and FAQs.
• Deliver product training and demonstrations for customers and internal staff.
• Manage technical support requests via phone, email, and chat, ensuring prompt resolutions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, product updates, and technological advancements.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
• Proven experience in the electrical industry with circuit protection expertise.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles and product functionality.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using technical support tools and software.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Desirable:
• Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in electrical engineering or related fields including electrical installation with wiring regulations / testing experience
• Previous experience in technical support or customer service roles.
