Duties and Responsibilities include detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations, preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens at or near the borders, interpreting tracks and other physical evidence of illegal entry, performing farm checks and building checks among others.
Qualifications include having one year of general work experience demonstrating ability to make sound decisions in stressful situations, learning regulations through classroom training or on-the-job instruction; OR holding a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with superior academic achievement.
