At ENMAX, the Community Impact Advisor role contributes to ENMAX's commitment to service and community by supporting the strategic design and implementation of employee giving programs and internal and external events. Working collaboratively across the organization and with community partners, the role helps deliver initiatives that align with company objectives, reflect ENMAX's values, and foster meaningful, lasting connections.

Major Responsibilities:

Employee Giving Program (70%)

  • Work collaboratively with the Community Impact team to develop and implement ENMAX's employee giving strategy

  • Support the day-to-day delivery of the employee giving program including volunteering, employee grants and volunteer requests, matching campaigns and seasonal initiatives

  • Track and report on metrics that contribute to impact measurement through employee giving and volunteering

  • Work closely with communications advisor to enable employee participation and storytelling

  • Engage employees in partner/sponsorship activations

Event Coordination (20%)

  • Plan and execute annual employee events such as Stampede Breakfast and holiday celebrations including: goals, strategy, timelines, budgets, vendors, risk mitigation and on-site support, reporting and post- event evaluation

  • Supporting event logistics for corporate annual events such as Rodeo, Leader's Summit, AGM and Town Halls in consultation with internal stakeholders and clients

  • Identify opportunities for employee engagement in event implementation.

Program Administration (10%)

  • Maintain promotional item inventory for community impact

  • Coordinate payments for invoices and partnership commitments

  • Maintain various shared mailboxes

  • Support program application cycles

Education Required:

  • Post secondary degree in communications, public relations or related discipline required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum two years' experience in community impact, corporate social responsibility, employee engagement and events

  • Minimum two years of administration experience with the Benevity platform  

  • Must possess a valid Alberta Driver's License

  • Advanced computer skills in Benevity and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook).

  • Strong project management skills with a high level of attention to detail and follow through ‑through

  • Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively

  • Experience supporting or coordinating volunteers is considered an asset

Salary: Communications Level B/C (Current CUPE 2025 rates)

$86, $92, $97, $103, $108,553.54

Location: th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB

Location:  This role will be part of our hybrid work model that includes Core Days in office (Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays), and more time to focus on Mondays and Fridays, either in the office or at home.  The office workspace is located at ENMAX Place th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB).
