Senior vCF Consultant

Job Title: vCF Architect / Consultant (French Speaking)

Location: Remote

Experience:

10+ years overall IT experience with at least 4+ years in VMware Cloud Foundation (vCF) architecture, deployment, and automation

Language Requirement: Fluent in French and English (mandatory)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced vCF Architect/Consultant who can design, implement, and optimize VMware Cloud Foundation (vCF) environments for enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience across VMware's SDDC stack, along with strong consulting, stakeholder management, and communication skills-especially in bilingual (French/English) engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end architecture, design, and deployment of VMware Cloud Foundation (vCF) environments.
• Define and implement SDDC components including vCenter, vSAN, NSX, Aria Suite, and vRealize tools .
• Work closely with client technical teams to align business needs with cloud architecture solutions.
• Drive automation and lifecycle management within vCF using tools such as vRO, vRA, and PowerCLI .
• Support upgrades, migrations, and integrations within hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to internal delivery teams.
• Document architectural designs, deployment standards, and best practices.
• Conduct workshops, design reviews, and architecture presentations (in French & English).

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in vCF architecture, design, and implementation (preferably vCF 4.x / 5.x).
• Hands-on expertise with:
• vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T, Aria Suite (vRA, vROPS, vRLI, vRNI)
• vDefend, AVI Load Balancer , and HCX for migration
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and storage integrations in virtualized environments.
• Strong automation skills (Python, PowerCLI, vRO scripting).
• Experience working with enterprise-scale transformation or cloud modernization projects .
• Excellent communication and consulting skills to interact with French-speaking customers.

Certifications (Preferred):

• VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) or VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX)
• VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV)
• VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization (VCP-NV)
• VMware Cloud Foundation Specialist / vCF 5.x certification

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Broadcom or OEM customer engagements
• Exposure to automation frameworks (Terraform, Ansible)
• Familiarity with Aria Operations for Networks or Aria Automation Config
