Position Summary: This position is responsible for supporting sales of electronic components and services by identifying new applications for Mtron products and supporting the Sales Engineer/Regional Sales Managers' customer technical needs. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Builds and supports relationships with existing key customer accounts by periodic visits and on-going customer contact. Understands the company's technical and production capabilities and identifies potential customers that would benefit from these capabilities. Interface with MtronPTI engineering to formulate customer feedback. Develop presentations, technical reports and collateral to be presented to customers. Develop specification sheets for new products and custom customer requirements. Research technologies and seek out new markets for the company's products. May attend various trade shows to identify and qualify potential customers. Maintains continuous contact with customers through telephone and in-person meetings throughout the sales process. Conducts follow-up meetings with potential customers for future business opportunities. Handles all aspects of securing travel needs from flights, hotels, and car rentals. Prepares and disseminates trip reports and follow-up correspondence on current and new business opportunities Supports Regional Sales Managers and Inside Sales Team as required. Supervises: None Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language; able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels. Skill in preparing and delivering presentations. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills. Working knowledge of electronic product applications. Organized, focused, and results-oriented with the ability to work on multiple projects. Good computer skills including Microsoft Office tools
Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Demonstrate professionalism, poise, and strong business ethics. Must be able to work with ITAR data without a license. Education, Experience and Training: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably Electrical. Entry level sales position. Physical Requirements & Working Environment: This role is performed on-site and requires regular in-office attendance. Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Occasional squatting, bending, or reaching. Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%
