Unit Manager (RN/LPN) Lead a Team. Elevate Resident Care. Make an Impact. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated
Unit Manager (RN or LPN)
to lead a nursing unit within our long-term care community. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse leader who is passionate about resident-centered care, staff development, and clinical excellence. The ideal candidate will have
at least one year of Nurse Manager or Unit Manager experience
and a strong commitment to creating positive outcomes for residents while supporting and mentoring nursing staff. Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit to ensure exceptional resident care and regulatory compliance.
Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Conduct resident assessments and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Partner with physicians, therapists, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate high-quality resident care.
Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal, and company requirements.
Monitor resident conditions and address clinical concerns promptly to promote positive outcomes.
Participate in care planning, quality assurance initiatives, and performance improvement activities.
Assist with staff education, training, and competency development.
Support compliance with infection control, safety, HIPAA, and resident rights standards.
Serve as a clinical resource for residents, families, and staff while helping resolve concerns and enhancing the resident experience.
Provide direct nursing care as needed to support resident care and unit operations.
Qualifications
Current
RN or LPN license
in good standing.
Minimum of one (1) year of Nurse Manager, Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, or supervisory nursing experience preferred.
Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge of care planning, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and resident-centered care practices.
Ability to effectively lead a team while maintaining high standards of resident care.
