We are seeking an experienced
DevOps Systems Engineer
to support the design, automation, deployment, and maintenance of modern cloud-based platforms and mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate brings strong AWS knowledge, hands-on CI/CD experience, and a deep understanding of containerized environments and DevOps best practices.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support cloud-based infrastructure and application environments Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, security, and deployment processes Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code to ensure reliable and consistent deployments Enhance platform observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting Support container orchestration platforms, Kubernetes clusters, and associated tooling Collaborate across development, security, and operations teams to improve platform resilience and performance Maintain strong version control discipline across all code repositories Requirements
Active TS/SCI FSP Clearance Technical bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field) 5+ years of relevant professional experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems engineering AWS Cloud Platform
Foundational-to-intermediate experience using AWS Console and CLI, with working knowledge of: SNS, SQS, API Gateway, CloudWatch Logs, CloudTrail, CloudFormation (CFN), Step Functions, Route 53, DynamoDB, EBS, EFS, S3, EC2, Lambda, ECR, ECS, EKS, KMS, IAM, Secrets Manager
CI/CD & Automation
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance Familiarity with tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo Workflows, or similar Ability to integrate automated testing, scanning, and deployment orchestration
Containerization & Orchestration
Strong experience with Docker/Podman Expert understanding of Kubernetes (EKS or on-prem)
Familiarity with:
Argo CD (GitOps deployment) Helm Istio service mesh Keycloak for identity and access management
Version Control & DevOps Practices
Strong understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and code review best practices Experience working within automation-driven DevOps environments Ability to document architectures, processes, and operational runbooks
