How you'll make an impact in this role Capture flawless diagnostic images by masterfully positioning patients, selecting exact technical exposure parameters, and administering contrast media safely within your regulated scope of practice. Champion radiation safety by strictly following clinical guidelines, safeguarding patients from unnecessary exposure, and diligently monitoring their well-being throughout every procedure. Streamline the diagnostic pipeline by promptly submitting high-quality images and accurate patient data to PACS, ensuring physicians have immediate, reliable records for treatment planning. Maintain peak operational readiness by verifying that all imaging equipment is functioning perfectly, managing room cleanliness, and proactively locking out or reporting technical malfunctions.
What minimum requirements you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Radiologic Technology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate' degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking
Must be currently registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
A valid, current state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist (as required by local regulations).
