We are building the modern employee intranet. Our software allows companies to engage and connect their workforce by utilizing a shared platform for employee communication and collaboration, streamlining inter-company communications, and forging employee relationships.
We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer who can design and develop complex software systems from scratch, architect comprehensive technical solutions, establish and support the best development/deployment practices. This is a remote‑only position. You must be comfortable with setting your own schedule and proactively collaborating in a globally dispersed team using a variety of communication channels.
Responsibilities
Design and develop a complex software product in addition to pairing with team members on functional and nonfunctional requirements and spreading design philosophy, goals and improvements to code quality across the team
Ensure all code is thoroughly covered by automated tests and that all features meet quality checks before deployment
Contributing to the constant improvement of practices and processes in the team
Design and implement the key technical components of the solution and help the team to develop and deliver the project deliverables
Identify and confirm technical design risks, and develop mitigating approaches, judge the trade‑offs with technology and feasibility and makes choices that fit the constraints of the project
Partner with team members to conduct design/code reviews during major project milestones
Qualifications
5+ years of Salesforce development experience writing and deploying production code for Salesforce
In‑depth knowledge of Salesforce platform and products, including an understanding of the platform principles, data model, integration capabilities, development and maintenance best practices, as well as the pros and cons of the available tools and frameworks
Solid experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (Aura), LWC, Chatter API, Connect API, Tooling API, Metadata API, Rest API, SOAP API, Bulk API, etc.
Extending functionality via Workflows, Apex code, Triggers, Apex Email Services, SOQL, Apex Web Service Callouts, Scheduled, Batch, Asynchronous events, SOQL/SOSL
Knowledge of best practices for Apex development and force.com platform usage
Salesforce Developer certification is a must
Full cycle experience building products from scratch all the way through to AppExchange, including a security review, is nice to have
Knowledge of Agile methodology and ability to deliver in a global team environment with members working remotely in various time zones
