Location: Atlanta, GA (Preferred) or Remote (US) – Monthly/Quarterly In-Person Meetings in Atlanta, GA, or Hermitage, TN Job Type: Contract Overview: We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solution Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet business needs while ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design: Architect and design cloud solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements. Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and support to development teams in implementing cloud solutions. Cloud Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a cloud strategy that enhances operational efficiency and reduces costs. Migration Planning: Assist in the migration of existing applications and services to cloud platforms. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and cost management. Security Compliance: Ensure that cloud solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance regulations. Documentation: Create and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams and design specifications. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest cloud technologies and trends to recommend best practices and improvements. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and solution design. Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of networking, security, and database management in a cloud environment. Certifications: Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect). Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Deep Expertise in Networks Deep expertise in Cloud Engineering and Automation Deep expertise in Cloud Operations Preferred Skills: Experience with DevOps practices and tools. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
