*Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at My Healthcare & My Rehab + Wellness. In this role, you will play a vital part in improving patient outcomes through personalized therapy programs. Our practice focuses on wellness quality of care in the geriatric psychiatric hospitals. We do not typically work weekends or holidays. Our team is supportive, caring, and we have tried to build a work environment that exemplifies teamwork. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality care that meets the diverse needs of our clients. This is a PRN position. Likely 5-10 hours/week but not guaranteed.
*Responsibilities*
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs.
* Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions and progress.
* Utilize various therapeutic techniques to enhance mobility and alleviate pain.
* Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
*Requirements*
* Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
* Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
* Experience in outpatient therapy preferred; inpatient experience is a plus.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
