Axon Moore are proud to be working with a well-established and reputable company based in North Manchester, to recruit a BI Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-known and successful company in the industry, who have a dynamic and energised Finance team. They are now embarking on an exciting journey to implement Power BI and you will be part of a small team who will be leading the way!

This role will support the finance and various other business teams and will aid decision making through financial reporting to the leadership team. Reporting into the Data Analytics Manager, you will be supporting the wider business in a commercial setting, liaising inter-departmentally to assess the requirements and bring them to life. This is a new piece of software, so they are looking for someone with prior experience to bring their skills and knowledge.

Salary and benefits:

Salary - £30-33k DOE, profit share bonus, 22 days holiday (3 days for Christmas close down) plus flexible bank holidays, pension, free parking, flexible working around 10-4 core hours will be available after probation. Other benefits include 30% discount, BenefitHub discounts and Bupa healthcare!

Responsibilities include:

Working in the Finance and Data Team, you will support with the implementation of Power BI into the business. Collaborate with business users to understand their requirements and deliver customised reporting using Power BI. Support with completion and continuous development of weekly/monthly/annual reporting using other tools, such as Excel. Run ad-hoc data reporting according to business and individual needs. Offer insight and highlight opportunities by taking and analytical view on business data. Ensure the complete accuracy, consistency and reliability of reports and all data outputs. Stay informed and up to date on the latest trends and best practices in data visualisation. Other ad-hoc work as required due to the changing needs of the business. Experience & Skill Requirements:

Previous experience in a role using Power BI and able to use and create dashboards from data sources is essential. Strong Excel skills for reporting are essential. DAX, Power Query and SQL knowledge would be beneficial. A degree in an IT related subject or an accreditation in Power BI would be desirable. Good commercial awareness and able to build relationships and influence at all levels within the business. Ability to multi-task, prioritise work and meet deadlines independently and in a team environment. Demonstrate accuracy and pay attention to detail.
