Head of MEP

Due to continued growth, Ardmore is seeking an experienced Head of MEP to lead MEP operations within the business.

This key role will manage the full MEP lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution and high standards of quality. The successful candidate will lead a team of project-based M&E professionals, providing strategic oversight, driving technical excellence, and ensuring successful project delivery.

• Define and implement MEP strategies aligned with company goals.
• Oversee MEP teams across multiple projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency.
• Manage resources, optimize performance, and develop talent within the MEP function.
• Provide technical leadership, resolving challenges and driving innovation.
• Ensure all MEP systems meet UK regulatory and safety standards.

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in senior MEP project management roles.
• Expertise in preconstruction planning, resource allocation, and technical delivery.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of UK building regulations, compliance, and industry best practices.
• Chartered status or professional body membership (CIBSE, IET) is desirable.

• Lead MEP operations on major projects valued at £20-£50m (MEP Scope).
• Shape and implement our MEP strategy across multiple Schemes.
