Role Overview:

You will have the opportunity to join a dynamic deep-tech startup in Cambridge focused on cutting-edge optical solutions for AR/VR headsets and HUDs. As an Optical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing optical systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary role will involve designing, optimizing, and validating novel optical components and systems through tabletop optical experiments and thorough design validation. Effective communication and collaboration are essential as you will work closely with internal teams, industry partners, suppliers, and customers.

Requirements:

• Experience in table-top optical experiments is mandatory.
• Proficiency in geometrical and ray optics principles is necessary.
• Knowledge of optical design tools, particularly Zemax, is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is essential.
